My little love, Eloise Eve at 6 weeks old ..

I am finally starting to feel like I am getting back into some sort of routine ... Tim is back at work and I am getting in and out of the house a bit more smoothly and more often and the sleep deprivation is sadly becoming a bit TOO normal for me. ;) I have so so so much to share photo-wise and am setting some blogging goals for the next month ... I miss you guys! Stay tuned ...

Here is Miss Eloise at 6 weeks ... she is starting to smile (at things not just because of gas!), has made a few new baby friends, loves being worn by Mommy in the Ergo and Moby wrap, is sleeping pretty well at night but does not really like snoozing during the day much, is nursing like a champ (although Mom's having a bit of trouble!) but is still a petite little thing at 7lbs 9oz .... and we are loving her more each and every day!

Eloise Eve Resudek

I'll have a much more detailed post to fill you all in soon but for now, our little miss, Eloise Eve, joined our family two weeks early on October 22nd... she is too much cuteness to handle and we are hibernating kissing her face and marveling at her toes. I'm officially out on maternity leave now - email will be slow until the New Year and shooting will commence March 1st. (except for a few already scheduled events :) ) Thanks so much for all of your congrats and patience during this super exciting (and tiring ;) ) time!

{four days old}

36 weeks pregnant : Almost there!

It's getting harder and harder not to liquify the crap out of these photos. ;) I don't even recognize myself these days .... officially on maternity leave and doing my best to get so many things done before our little lady arrives. Being a business owner and trying to take time off is proving to be difficult. I feel both energized and completely exhausted at the same time if that's even possible. Sleep is tough.. doing my best to get enough of it because I know it's going to be something that's even harder to come by soon. Taking long showers and baths and spending time reorganizing the kitchen and reading up on labor and delivery. Also feel like I could eat my entire kitchen at any given moment but I resist and mostly stuff myself with sweet fruit.

It's finally cooling down here which is making life a lot easier to handle.. hoping for a wet winter so me and baby girl can hibernate in cozy quarters together.

Here we are in all our glory! Almost there! Can't wait to hold her little body in my arms and kiss her little cheeks nonstop.

I love these women!

Last week my dear friend Yelena threw me and baby girl a shower and we grabbed this group shot at the end of the afternoon. Emily took lots of pictures of all of the beautiful details that I can't wait to see but this one just warms my heart and I wanted to share it. The saying, "it takes a village" feels so much more true these days .. its not just about the help and advice I know I'll be leaning on all these women for in the next year but all of the love and support they have given me throughout this whole process has been overwhelming.... I just couldn't have made it without them. I knew that running a business while pregnant would have it's challenges, but having the support and sometimes just a shoulder to complain on or someone to look up to from these women has made all of the difference. The community this industry brings is just amazing and I am so happy to be surrounded by such talented and inspiring women! I hope my little lady will learn from all of them!
