Happy Friday, all! What are you doing this weekend? I am heading out this afternoon with my Mom to visit my aunt and sister in Sacramento and I'm so looking forward to some girl relaxation time! The women in my family really know how to relax and it'll be nice to just hang out in the warm weather and talk gardening and Madmen and what not. Whatever you do, I hope you get out and enjoy the weather, it's finally beginning to feel like a proper spring.

Alex and Doug have been behind my camera more than once and they are always a pleasure to photograph! They came out and modeled for a mini workshop I did with my interns last year and, as always, they killed it!

This coming weekend I have my first wedding of 2012 so it only feels right to blog my last wedding of 2011- FINALLY. Believe it or not, I still have a few weddings from 2011 to share that have been held up for one reason or another so if you haven't seen yours up here yet- stay tuned!

Megan was really a bride after my own heart- she had me with her emerald engagement ring- what a DREAM! I had such a great time communicating with her about all of her wedding details and working with her and her family was just a dream. Megan and Kevin tied the knot at the gorgeous St. Josephs Cathedral in downtown San Jose followed by a beautiful reception up at The Olympic Club. It was such a great way to end my 2011 season! Onward!

Finally getting around to blogging my images from the brain child of Erin Taylor, Allison Silber and Yasmin Zialcita : The Lab Event this past January- These girls sure know how to throw an amazing party! We had such a fun time visiting with brides and hanging out with vendors and I'm excited to share some images of the absolutely breathtaking tablescapes the vendors worked together to create based on an inspiration board contest run by a bunch of great wedding blogs. Near the end of last year I started to feel like I hadn't done anything fun in awhile. I was really yearning to shoot some images of pretty things that didn't come with the pressure to perform that a wedding did. I happened to come across the first issue of Magnolia Rouge and immediately wanted to be a part of issue 2! Kate was such a doll and when she told me Issue 2's theme was Nature, I reached out to Yelena and we started brainstorming. What ended up as our final product was something a little bit beautiful and a little bit freaky and I love it!
