First thing first- I could shoot an entire different wedding at Holly Farm and come out with completely different, totally unique images. This place is by far the BEST venue I have ever shot in. It's got everything I love- outdoors, rustic, kitschy, greenery, character, on-site living quarters for wedding party to rent out, ans amazing planner named Erin! Holly Farm is a family run business- Erin's mom was running around making sure everyone was taken care her, her dad, a super classy man in a tux with an obviously warm heart, rings bells when it's time for things to start, and Erin's brother bar tended. I just love establishments with owners who clearly love what they do and do with with heart! Can someone please hire me to come back????? :) Okay, that out of the way- last month I had the greatest pleasure to be a part of Tyler and Helen's beautiful wedding in Carmel. This was truly an event full of love- family and friends galore just partying under the stars. Perfect. This wedding was particularly dear to my heart because Tyler is the son of one of my moms very best friends. So, while we weren't exactly friends growing up, we entered each others lives here and there and I think I knew about half of the guests there! One of the best parts about this job is being able to share my talents who those near and dear to me and I am so happy to now be a part of Helen and Tylers story.
A big thanks to Maggie for putting me up in her relatives adorable Carmel house!! And also to my absolutely amazing, couldn't have asked for better, assistants for the day Jennifer and Matt!(I know you have been waiting patiently to post- sorry it took so long!!!)
Onward!
Helen and Tyler's son, Cade, stole the show during the ceremony. :)
I refuse to take this down no matter how many of you beg. I. Love. It.
