Happy Memorial Day! Hope everyone had a great weekend- I was out in Palm Desert shooting away and frying eggs on the pavement. Have I mentioned how much I hate it out there during the summer months? YUCK! Palm Springs is tons of fun in the fall and winter months and it lots of fun when it involves relaxation and a pool but man, oh, man- shooting in 114 degree dry heat. Shoot me. -But the wedding was beautiful and I had a ton of fun hanging out by the pool yesterday- what perks! :) Onto Davida and Paul- In early May Davida and Paul finally tied the knot! They booked me pretty far in advance and it was one of those days where I just couldn't stop thinking to myself how time flies! Davida planned the wedding from here and there and everywhere and managed to pull off a really beautiful day. Paul's family started a small school back in the early nineties and it is family tradition to hold their weddings there so we had a good time making use of the school grounds. Not much open shade during the hours we were shooting, so we had to get pretty creative but only a venue as unique as this would have suited these two!
