Jamie and Aaron : A destination wedding at The Viceroy in Anguilla : aka paradise!

Oh, Anguilla!

What can I possibly say about you that could explain the beauty that was Jamie and Aarons destination wedding at The Viceroy? It took a plane, another plane, a taxi, a speedboat, and another taxi to get there but it was definitely worth it. Jamie and Aaron put together a most beautiful affair to remember for all of their friends and family and myself, Tim, and my lovely assistant Natalie were honored to have been there to document it. Well, let us be real, Tim really just had himself a lovely vacation while Natalie and I documented! All the same, it was a wonderful time and I am thrilled to be sharing the photos with you.

If you ever get a chance- this hotel is spectacular!

A wedding in Woodside : Emily and Jim : Sharon Heights Country Club

Emily and Jim were my first wedding of the season and I couldn't have asked for a more relaxed and easy going couple to bring me into 2012. They were married at Woodside Valley Church with a reception at Sharon Heights Country Club ... the event was coordinated by Yelena and Courtney at The Stylish Soiree, hair and make up by the ever-fabulous Jane at The Glamourist and the florals were designed by Karen at Huckleberry Designs. Dream team if I do say so myself! :)

Special thanks to my assistants that day, Natalie and Indu, for capturing some of the images below and many more!

Enjoy!

Hutchi and Ben : A Southern Wedding in Kentucky : The cover of Kentucky Brides Magazine

Happy Weekend!

I have been waiting to share this wedding for almost a year now! I can't hardly believe that it's been that long since I first stepped foot in stunning Kentucky for Hutchi and Ben's beautiful wedding at Stone Farm. When my assistant and friend, Karen, and I got off the plane we really weren't prepared to absolutely fall in love with the blue grass state- but we were immediately taken with the gorgeous landscapes, adorable farm houses, horse culture, and sprawling land. Living next door to me in Los Angeles, Hutchi and Ben have been friends of mine for years and I couldn't have been more honored to have been the one there to document their day. Special thanks to Miss Karen for battling the heat neither one of us was used to and running around all day making sure everyone was hydrated! Anyhow, this was literally one of my favorite weddings of my entire career for so many reasons and I am so excited to finally share it with you!

I also want to share that Hutchi and Ben are on the cover of this months Kentucky Bride Magazine!

I have a ton more images to share than ran in the magazine so... put on some blue grass music and get ready.... :)

Bay Area Wedding Photographer : A Wedding at Kohl Mansion : Erin and Scott

So excited to see Erin and Scotts beautiful Kohl Mansion wedding featured today over at Elizabeth Anne Designs!

Because we got married in November we had to choose a venue that had an indoor reception space but it's no secret that I prefer outdoor weddings. There is something so magical about twinkling lights, dancing under the stars, sun set toasts... but there are a small handful of venues in the bay area that are indoor/outdoor that I just *love* to shoot in and one is Kohl Mansion. This place has such rich history... rooms that speak of secret passageways and you can almost picture the Downton Abbey style "help" moving around dusting and serving grand meals in the dining room. When I was a little girl, my great Auntie Mary, who was a nun, used to live on the same property as Kohl and we used to roam the halls looking for books that opened secret rooms and play hide and seek so it's always a treat for me to go back there.... Erin and Scott are just treasure type clients ... working with them was such a breeze and their wedding day reflected that.

Onward to images! :) Enjoy!
