Fiona and Eric were guests at the wedding I photographed yesterday so I figured it was a perfect time to throw their images up on the blog! Their wedding ran on Style Me Pretty very shortly after their event (they were still honeymooning in Germany at the time) - check out the post by clicking on the image below. This freaking wedding is still taking my breath away ... such beautiful elegant details with rustic outdoor touches.... swooon.....
It was so great to see you two in all your marriage glory- love to you always!
I'm sitting on the couch, still in my work out clothes from my afternoon session at the gym, with Letters to Juliet on the tv mindlessly clicking through image after image of a recent wedding. Why not break up this editing funk with a blog post? Immediately after Nicole and Jimmy's engagement session Tim and I sat in the sand and happily got engaged- I can't believe that it has been over a year since that day and that Nicole and Jimmy's wedding has come and gone and Tim and I's is so quickly approaching! They are forever part of our love story and now I am forever part of theirs!
Nicole and Jimmy are such an adorable match- they both have such big beautiful families that completely showered them with love from start to finish on their wedding day at The Ranch Golf Course in San Jose. It was such a pleasure to have been a part of your day, love to you both!!!
Sometimes I am just in love with how small the world is and how interconnected we all are. (have you heard me ramble on about Heather and I's "Orbital Theory" yet? If not, ask me about it sometime. ;) ) Angela and Geoff came to me by way of our landlord, James, and I couldn't have been more thrilled to be their photographer. They were married at the lovely new vineyard in the Santa Cruz Mountains, Vine Hill Winery. Since it's been awhile since I've posted, lets just get to the pictures yeah?
Onward!
Oh time off, I forgot what you felt like! Tim's older brother Joe and his wife (and one of my new sisters!) Charna, were in town this weekend to head to Napa and taste wine and eat food and it just so happened that Tim and I were headed up there to visit my Uncle Charles who will be playing the role as officiant in our wedding to plan our ceremony- so we got to spend three lovely days with family, drinking and eating, and being merry! Long winded enough? It's enough to just say it was a great weekend!
Me, croquet, and love.
A couple of weeks ago Audra and Charlie tied the knot at the Cinnabar Hills Golf Course - I have know Audra since I was a baby- her mom and my mom went to high school together and I seriously can't imagine anyone else photographing her big day! Editing her images was rough- I kept tearing up... I think it just felt close to home.. seeing Audra as a bride made me realize that I'm going to be a bride! She is so freaking gorgeous and the both of them were such a joy to photograph.
Since moving up here last December I've photographed at only a handful of northern California venues but I was so surprised by the beauty of Cinnabar. I have to be honest, sometimes golf courses can be a challenge- ya know.... gazebos and manicured lawn isn't all its cut out to be - but Cinnabar has so many beautiful spots for lovely image making. :) Enough chat- onward!
I don't normally post family group shots but this one is near and dear to my heart :)
