I wonder why the grass is green and why the wind is never seen?

Hope you all had a wonderful, fun, and safe Halloween! Happy candy eating. :) I wanted to take a moment to announce that I have a very limited amount of weekday  family session openings left for this holiday season. After Thanksgiving my camera is going into professional hibernation until January so book your session while you can!
I wonder why the grass is green,
And why the wind is never seen?
Who taught the birds to build a nest,
And told the trees to take a rest?
O, when the moon is not quite round,
Where can the missing bit be found?
Who lights the stars, when they blow out,
And makes the lightning flash about?
Who paints the rainbow in the sky,
And hangs the fluffy clouds so high?
Why is it now, do you suppose,
That Dad won’t tell me, if he knows?

Little Meg : Yelena Johnson of The Stylish Soiree : Maternity Session

Who knew when Yelena and I met at a little sandwich shop on Larchmont in Los Angeles that she would soon become my friend, wedding planner, would move with her husband up to the bay area shortly after me, become even a closer friend, and that I'd be soon photographing her maternity session! It's been a wild couple of years for both Yel and I and I am so glad to call her not only a colleague but a dear friend. I am so happy for her and Mike and can't wait to meet little Audrey! (who actually entered this world early last week :) )

Yelena is a seriously talented event designer and it was no surprise that she pulled together this gorgeous space for little Audrey to spend her childhood in. Not to mention that she pulled together such elegant attire for her self... :)

These images and more about Yelena's decor choices are on On To Baby today- check out the post!

Little Meg : Bay Area Newborn Baby Photographer : Baby Nolan

Do you have a case of the Mondays? Scroll down to brighten your day with cuteness.

I photographed Nolan's Mom and Dad's wedding awhile back and was so happy to have the chance to document another huge moment for them this past spring. Nolan is such a calm and collected little guy with the brightest blue eyes I've ever seen (just like his mama!) ... He's probably twice this size by now but I wanted to share these images before he got to college. ;)
