I love Jen and Eric! Seriously, the way they interact with each other is almost identical to Tim and I and they have the best energy! They decided to do their engagement shoot in their neighborhood in San Francisco, which I think was such a great idea since they'll be moving to their new house soon! ("To the suburbs!," Jen says.) We even had a chance to do a couple images in their apartment on their window seat (sighhh...). Can't wait until their wedding in August! Thanks for such a great afternoon, guys!
Taleen and Vache : Engaged!
Last Friday I had the pleasure of photographing Taleen and Vache in Los Gatos at Testarossa Winery. They aren't getting married right away but wanted some images for their engagement party invites and the timing worked out perfectly with my recent visit to the bay area. Taleen and I went to high school together but haven't seen each other since graduation and it was so great catching up! Like so many of the men I photograph, Vache started out grunting and moaning about the lovey dovey posing I was making him do- just so all of his macho friends know, (turn on the sarcasm) he did NOT have fun. ;) I mean, come on, who wouldn't have fun running around in open fields with the beautiful Taleen??? Thanks for being so totally awesome you two! Check it out!
Emma came along to hold the reflector and keep her big sister company and her and I are still talking about this headband! Love it!
Talk about being resourceful, we borrowed this chair from the ladies bathroom.
After Testarossa Winery we headed down to Dolce Spazio, a little place on N. Santa Cruz Ave that has a mean gelato!
It was a beautiful afternoon and we had so much fun. Thanks for the gelato, Vache!!! You guys are the best. :)
Carly and Chris : Engaged!
UPDATE: Check out this shoot featured on Style Me Pretty, my FAVORITE wedding inspired blog.

This is not a not your average engagement shoot. Since I started Operation: Get Inspired a lot of clients have been asking about doing a shoot of that type for their engagement images. I LOVE IT! If any of my other 2009-2010 clients are interested in an editorial engagement shoot- let's chat!
When I met with Carly and Chris months back I was reminded immediately why I love my job so much. They had me at "Madmen." Seriously, if they wouldn't have booked me I would have called them begging and pleading for them to let me shoot their wedding. They are having a throw back to the fabulous sixies wedding in Palm Spring this October and wanted to have their engagement images reflect that style. Seriously, we were meant for each other!
And thanks to the ever amazing Heather Kincaid for coming out to share in the fun! Check out her images on her blog soon!
Mmmm, these are like candy... do you guys love them as much as I do?
Can't wait for your wedding guys!!!! Thanks for being so delightful!!!
Two teasers in a row.. I know, I know!
A teaser from today's editorial engagement shoot! Chris and Carly worked it! More soon...
Erin and Steve - Engaged! - Downtown LA
I just can't wait to get these images up! After rescheduling their engagement session due to rain twice Erin, Steve, and I finally got to spend the day together on Saturday- and what a beautiful day it was! Downtown Los Angeles is one of my favorite places to shoot- there are so many architectural gems within walking distance of each other and just a really great energy. If anyone needs some tips on what to wear to your engagement shoot take note from these two stylish gems! Without any prompting from me they went casual and formal perfectly!!! (Can we say, James Bond??) Both outfits totally worked with our environment and helped to enhance the shoots general mood. Can't wait to shoot your wedding in June guys- thanks for being so awesome!!
