Annemarie and Michael : Downtown San Jose Wedding at The Saint Claire
Annemarie and I go way back- I’m not sure if she remembers this but I remember her from the very first day of high school. My last name and her last name are close together in the alphabet so in classes where the teacher did the seating chart in alphabetical order, we oftentimes ended up sitting next to each other. I went to a public middle school and transferred into the private school system as a freshman so I honestly did not know one person in my freshman class that first day of school. I don’t remember exactly how I was feeling but nervous probably doesn’t even start to describe it…. but I remember clearly Annemarie being one of the first girls I met in Miss Aquino’s religion class. It’s things like this that make me all the more thankful that I do what I do. Over the years I have been able to reconnect with people who I may only have seen at our reunions and not only reconnect but play a part in one of the biggest most happiest days of their lives! It was such an absolute joy to photograph Annemarie and Mike’s wedding and I want to thank them for allowing me the pleasure!
They tied the knot at St. Christophers church and partied it up at The Saint Claire in downtown San Jose. It was seriously a BEAUTIFUL wedding with fabulous decor and flowers by Asiel Designs that were to die for.
Check it out

Bay Area Engagement Session : Sue and Jeffrey
With all that’s been going on I, admittedly, have fallen quite behind on blogging… as things are slowly down I’ll be sharing a lot of shoots from this summer but I really wanted to get Sue and Jeffrey’s engagement images up- considering they are getting hitched tomorrow at Mountain Winery!
Have a wonderful weekend!!

Little Meg : Yelena Johnson of The Stylish Soiree : Maternity Session
Who knew when Yelena and I met at a little sandwich shop on Larchmont in Los Angeles that she would soon become my friend, wedding planner, would move with her husband up to the bay area shortly after me, become even a closer friend, and that I’d be soon photographing her maternity session! It’s been a wild couple of years for both Yel and I and I am so glad to call her not only a colleague but a dear friend. I am so happy for her and Mike and can’t wait to meet little Audrey! (who actually entered this world early last week
)
Yelena is a seriously talented event designer and it was no surprise that she pulled together this gorgeous space for little Audrey to spend her childhood in. Not to mention that she pulled together such elegant attire for her self…
These images and more about Yelena’s decor choices are on On To Baby today- check out the post!

View All CommentsI love this session, the light, the pretty room and how beautiful the mom to be looks. Oh and that blue dress
. The shot of her laying down on the couch is my favorite!

Anytime Love : Malini and Greg : Olema, CA
Hi guys!
I had a weekend off and I feel like a new woman. Tim and I spent it working on the house (what else is new?) but it was so nice to just enjoy each other and our friends and family without the crazy pressure I put on myself when I have a wedding
One time I was getting ready for a wedding and Tim was on the way out the door and said, “Is there anything you need at Target?” and I snapped… I CANT THINK ABOUT A TARGET LIST! I HAVE A WEDDING TODAY! Thank God Tim knows sane Meg too because I wouldn’t have blamed him if he had fled for the rest of the weekend. Seriously.. wedding weekends are so much more stress than just the actual shooting part. I know you wedding photographers can relate
So! Needless to say, it was nice to just take a couple days to regroup!
Malini and Greg are not shy to my camera- they have been in front of it before. Malini emailed me a few months ago and told me that her and Greg were going to be spending much of this year living miles and miles apart from each other due to work and really wanted to document their love during a getaway trip to the Bay Area so they could remember the moment during the tough times ahead. I was so excited to meet up with them again and had so much fun running around the grounds at their Olema bed and breakfast.
Let’s get to the images, shall we?
