A couple weeks ago I had the utmost pleasure to not only be a guest at my cousin Mario’s wedding but also do some shooting for them as well! Tim and I flew up to San Jose and then drove into Waterford for a fun weekend of family time! Mario and Nikki planned their wedding all by themselves and did an awesome job! The location provided amazing scenery and light and they were a blast to work with! Not to mention it was just great to finally be a guest at a wedding and get my groove on. Welcome to the family Nikki! This post will be a bit more personal since these are relatives of mine… sorry folks

You guys did an awesome job on the comment situation last post- so let’s do it again! My cousin David’s son Colin (2nd cousin? is that how that works?)- too cute. I asked him if he felt handsome in his suit and he said, “Hm… not really.”

Michelle and Nathan came to me from a referral by my college dorm roommate Becca! Michelle and Becca have been best friends forever and many a conversation in our dorm led to stories about “my friend Michelle.” I was honored to be a part of your wedding day and so excited to have made two awesome new friends!!!! Thanks Bec!!! Some nights I’m just so good at the story telling!

It’s happening- I am so sorry to all my end of August/September clients- I am too busy to blog. I have too many weddings to keep up with blogging weekly. I promise that over the next couple months I will start slowly cranking these guys out (including more Guatemala photos) – patience is a virtue, please be patient!

For now, here is a picture of Laura, me, and Danielle from the photo booth at Jennifer and Paul’s wedding at The Adamson House last weekend! (It was my third wedding of the weekend- excuse the enormous bags under my eyes )

Off to San Jose to shoot my cousins wedding and hopefully enjoy myself and actually have some drinks and dance!

If you read this blog.. and if you know me, then you know that Heather is a huge part of my life and a very close friend of mine. When we are together we are constantly laughing, sometimes uncontrollably and over something that no one else around us understands. I can be sitting next to Heather in a meeting, in an elevator, in the car outside of Tower Records on Sunset- and something can happen and all I have to do is move my eyes slightly to the left and I know that she is having the exact same reaction to what is happened around us as I am. I think she said it well this evening, “I think your thoughts ooze out of your skin and attach themselves onto mine!” We spent many an amazing, rebellious, totally uncontrolled night in our awesome L-Suite in college, living together in our beautiful Los Feliz bungalow, started our businesses at almost the exact same time, and, of course, agonized over our Edward Cullen crushes. Seriously, I don’t know what I would do without this girl in my life.

She constantly reminds me that I am not crazy- we just both are
